My artwork is called Unicorn of the Clouds. It shows a mermaid riding a unicorn in the sky. They are standing on soft, fluffy clouds that look like they are glowing with magic. I wanted it to look like a dream where anything is possible. I made the unicorn using clay and cardboard. I covered the unicorn with coloured styrofoam to make it bright like a rainbow. The unicorn’s wings are made from raisins and little bits because I wanted them to look special and different. I painted parts of the unicorn to add more colour and make it look happy and magical. The unicorn’s horn is made from shells. I used shells because they come from nature and make the horn look shiny and strong. The unicorn’s tail is made from feathers so it looks soft and like it can fly. The clouds are made from cotton wool because real clouds are fluffy and white. I put lights inside the clouds so they glow with different colours. The lights make the clouds look like stars, rainbows, and fairy lights in the sky. They make my artwork feel alive and magical. The mermaid is riding the unicorn because I love sea creatures and magical animals. The mermaid shows the ocean and the unicorn shows the sky. Together they show that nature is everywhere, in the sea and in the air. They are friends going on an adventure in the clouds. I want people to feel happy and amazed when they look at my artwork. I want them to imagine flying, dreaming, and having fun in a magical world. For me, Unicorn of the Clouds shows that nature is magical, colourful, and full of imagination.
