Under 7 Category • 2026Materials used: I used acrylic paint pens to make my picture because I like how bright and colourful they are. I was inspired by birds because they can fly anywhere and they make me feel happy when I see them outside. While I was drawing, I felt calm and excited, and I felt close to my grandad guy when I was making it. I chose to draw a bird because birds make me feel peaceful and happy. My favourite bird is a wagtail because it always reminds me of my grandad guy, who I was very close to and who is in heaven now. When I see a wagtail, I think it is his way of saying hi, and it always brings a smile to my face.
